Brennen Murray

Executive Director/LPN
Brennen has been a Licensed Practical nurse since 2007. She has been an in-home nurse for disabled children; school nurse and a clinic nurse at the cancer center and is now Executive Director at The Journey Home. Brennen has lived in Bartlesville since 2007.

Kristal Fowler

Kristal has been a caregiver for The Journey home since May 2016. Initially she went to school intending to be a teacher. But it was a personal experience that touched her heart to want to give back to the those at end of life instead. So now she is a part of TJH team and she lives in Bartlesville with her husband and four children.

Carrie Porta

Carrie has been with TJH for almost a year. She started as PRN as a job to make a little extra money, and quickly realized this was where she needed to be. She fell in love with Hospice and everything it stands for. She is also an EMT, having started Paramedic school last January. Carrie has been married for eight years and has four beautiful kids ranging in age from 18 to 12.

Katrina Baughman

Katrina has had her CNA and CHHA since 2016. She has provided private home health since 2002. She worked for nine years as paraprofessional with special needs kids. Katrina has lived in Bartlesville her entire life.

Part Time Staff

Cathi Snively

Cathi received her CNA/CHHA in 2000. She also has an Associate’s Degree in psychology and seven years experience. Cathi was raised in Tulsa but has lived in Skiatook with her family since 2002.

Kay Garrett

Kay received her CNA in 1995 and worked in home health approximately five years. Following that she worked for a local hospice, then worked private duty for the next 10 years. It took going back to college to study Business Administration for her to realize her heart had always been in hospice, so she joined the team at The Journey Home.

Kelli Garza

Kelli is a native to Bartlesville and a member of First Baptist Church, where she previously taught in the Kids Day Out program for 10 years, She has been with the Journey Home since May 2016. Kelli and her husband have been married for 21 years and have four children. She cared for both of her parents and her mother-in-law before they passed, and believes God has turned her experience with loss and grief into an opportunity to help others through their journey of losing a loved one.

Judy Schonherr

Judy has spent the last 10 years taking care of the mentally disabled. A person who is full of compassion, she has both a CNA and an CMA. Judy was raised in Nowata and now makes her home there with her family when she’s not at The Journey Home caring for guests.

Jane Hodges

Jane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She retired from Phillips 66 in 2013 after 34 years of service. The majority of Jane’s career at Phillips was spent in an HR role. Jane was raised in Caney, Kansas and has lived in the Dewey/Bartlesville area since 1996.

Becky Schenck

Becky has been involved in volunteer work with local hospices for several years. Having a compassion for giving end-of-life care, she joined TJH team in 2016. She and her husband, along with their three children, did mission work in Papua New Guinea for over 14 years. Becky and her husband live in Ochelata where she enjoys being a pastor’s wife, mom to their three grown children and their spouses, and grandma to 14 sweet grandchildren.

Sara Heuertz

Sara is a compassionate, outgoing person who has first-hand experience with the end-of-life process, having helped take care of her grandmother through it. Actually, her grandmother was a guest at the Journey Home. Currently Sara is enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to joining TJH staff, she was a preschool teacher at First Baptist Church and administrative assistant to the music minister.
